Article 7.
Mission
The Municipal Department of Administration and Human Resources is the service of the Municipal Authority whose mission is to provide technical and administrative support to the President of the Municipal Authority and to other bodies and services of the Municipal Authority in which it is integrated in the areas of general procedures,document management, human resources management, IT, coordination of internal and external communication systems, archives and protocol.
Article 9.
Departments
1. The Municipal Secretariat of Administration and Human Resources comprises:
a) A Department of Archives, IT, Protocol and Archives, responsible for carrying out the acts and processing the administrative procedures necessary for the exercise of the powers provided for in §§ 1º, 3º, 4º and 5º of the previous article;
b) A Human Resources Department, responsible for carrying out the acts and processing the administrative procedures necessary for the exercise of the powers provided for in § 2º of the previous article. 2. The Departments provided for in the previous paragraph are headed by Heads of Department, appointed under a service commission regime, under the terms of Decree-Law no. 3/2016, of March 16.
